Corporate Social Responsibility

ATKINZ GROUP is committed to maintaining the highest standards of corporate social responsibility in its business activities. One of our core values is ‘integrity’, where our colleagues and teammates carry out their duties with scrupulous honesty, meticulous care and professional pride.
To meet this commitment, our CSR efforts will be focused on these three main areas in the year 2021:

  • Supporting and making a positive impact on our host communities
  • Implementing environmental and green initiatives
  • Creating opportunities for career development to keep pace with shifting industry and corporate goals

How we are taking on this responsibility:

  • Volunteer opportunities for employees to build stronger communities.
  • Give-back; educational, accommodation, and research grants to help local students and schools:

Education is one of the top priorities of ATKINZ philanthropic agenda.

  • Organising conferences and sponsoring events providing support for local organizations, public and private and sectors:

Community standards; aiming at improving the society’s standards, strengthening family core and values, and to increase personal prosperity, ATKINZ powered and financed the HAPPY FAMILY MAGAZINE in 2015.

Happy Family Magazine is a monthly magazine dedicated to helping parents navigate every aspect of parenthood from pregnancy through the school years and help mums and dads raise happy, healthy kids. The magazine is committed to addressing those topics that influence us most deeply, subjects such as parenting, marriage, manhood and womanhood, and the family unit’s important role in the society. At the same time, the magazine helps couples grow and revitalise their marriage. The magazine is packed with features and articles offering valuable information to families, parents, newlyweds and parents-to-be.

  • Internship programs: women are the pillars on which any society stands firm. The stronger and well-constructed these pillars are, the better structured and more progressive the community built upon them will be. With this ideology in mind. ATKINZ focuses its efforts on less-privileged people, especially women, young girls, and abandoned children, helping them to integrate into society and the business world. At SWIDENT they set out to run campaigns aimed at giving young girls and women the necessary push to seize their chances at becoming the future powerful figures in personal care industry.
  • Inspired by its CSR philanthropic values: ATKINZ has built up a microfinance program based on an interest-free attitude. ATKINZ believes that the less privileged need to be provided with variety of services and access to financial resources, together with capacity building and skill enhancement within the individuals will help them come out of the poverty cycle. To achieve that, ATKINZ provides micro-entrepreneurs with financial solutions and training needed to operate and expand their businesses and enable them to maintain their own sustainable source of income or strengthen their enterprises so they can withstand unpredictable economic shocks. We believe that empowering individuals to create dignified and sustainable Work is the foundation for transforming their lives, their children’s futures and by extension their communities.
